8/20/19- Will be without cell service for some time. Not sure when i will be able to update everyone on my travels. Our planned summit date is the 27th. I am ecstatic that my son Chad is planning to meet us and climb Katahdin with us. I want to thank Allison from the depths of my being for doing all that she has done to make this trip work for me. Jared, thank you for your constant input and support. Have fun in Columbia, S America hiking and keeping the Carter adventures moving forward. I have never been a social media person but this has been fun and i thank all of you that have been so supportive and interested. My life will be forever changed because of this trip and i hope that i have been able to impart,no matter how small, a piece of all that is awesome in this world. Thank you and i will update everyone as soon as i can.
