Another amazing Golden encounter for me. Hitch hiking into Bethel, Maine, a wonderful woman named Maggie picked us up. The ensuing conversation revealed that she is the proud parent of two Goldens. When I explained my commitment to them, she promptly opened her wallet and gave me $40.00 to donate to GRRMF. She then invited me to her house and i spent a few hours with her dogs, drinking her delicious homemade grape juice and sharing hiking stories.
